Just seems it's so easy to make ya mind up about something (or have it made up for you 🤣) and then ya feel ya have to defend it (or them)... And then when ya realize it ain't workin, ya spend the rest of ya life trying to shatter that bias😂😁
Having said that... Belief may also be underrated.....
By believing in something, maybe we're also altering reality and making it come true😁
So for all it's flaws, perhaps religion IS really tapping into the nature/reality of God... (?)
The old hangover of religion...yes. Better to taste and not swallow anything we're unsure of.
I should have fleshed that out a bit...circumstances forced me to deal direct after so much confusion, hypocrisy and powerlessness. At my lowest point, Something connected with me! I spent some time unlearning and cleaning the slate and started engaging directly. So I had lots of questions and not a few grievances. In going direct, I put it out there and wait for answers and experiences to show up.
Once you know...there is no need for belief.
But in the context YOU mention, belief IS underrated. 😁
What's that about faith can move mountains.... Belief seems like a mental exercise... If u try hard enough, you'll feel it.... But knowing goes beyond that.... Seems more effortless 😊
